The team is consolidating a repository of their combined enterprise expertise — process, controls, and practice — that completes the backing and de-risks delivery. It folds in now, and the next major update identifies everyone on the engine side and the people who make the standard valid.
Why the structure comes first
We stand up the entity before any channel partnership. When this is vetted — by an investor, an enterprise buyer, or Microsoft — the answer to "who's behind it?" is a complete bench and a clean structure, built so the only rational move is to license it.
Independence by design
govrn's most defensible asset is independence — the arm that attests is structurally separate from the arm that builds and runs. This is a corporate-structure fact, not a promise: it is what makes the verdict credible to a board, an auditor, and a regulator, and it protects the value of the engine.
